I’m a big fan of vacuum sealing machines. They preserve food for a long time without freezer burn, and almost everything I freeze is vacuum sealed. My old Foodsaver machine is slowly dying, so I needed a replacement. I’ve tried a couple other brands, and they worked OK, but they were SLOW. It shouldn’t take a ridiculously long time to vacuum and seal a bag. This machine works as efficiently as my old Foodsaver, unlike those other machines I tried. It also seems to take a LOT more air of the bag than even my Foodsaver does, which is great, unless you have moist food or food that would get destroyed by being compressed too much. I made that mistake with some frozen ravioli. I used the “dry” function, which means the machine will vacuum and seal the bag automatically. It sucked so much air out of the bag and compressed the ravioli so much, it broke a few of them. So when I went to seal the next bag of ravioli, I used the “vac” function which means that as long as I have the button pressed, the machine’s vacuum function will run. When I let off the button, the machine will stop. So that function means I have control over how much vacuum the bag gets before I decide to seal it. So I was able to vacuum seal the second bag of ravioli without breaking them, but that also means there’s more air in the bag than the first one. I will have to use the “vac” function with almost all moist food to prevent liquid from getting sucked into the machine. However, if you freeze the moist food first and then seal it, you don’t have the problem with the excess moisture and you can use the “dry” function. I think the names of the functions are a little confusing. Instead of “dry”, why not label it “vac dry” and the other one “vac wet” instead of “vac” and “dry”. It seems counterintuitive. But that’s really the only issue I have with the machine. It works relatively quickly, gets a lot of air out, and seals the bag well when it’s done. It’s also quieter than my Foodsaver, which is a bonus. As to the longevity of this, well, we’ll see. I will update this review if the product is short-lived.

I just tried this vacuum sealer today and so far I’m impressed. Years ago I had one of the name brand vacuum sealers and one this seems to be just as good. It is a little noisy but the volume is tolerable and the noise doesn’t last long. It’s compact, lightweight and easy to use. I first tried sealing a bag of chips just to test it before I tried meat and I used the seal function. It did seal but after a minute there seemed to be a little air in the bag so I did another test using the dry function and this time there was no air. It worked great so I tried the steaks. It sealed perfectly and it’s holding the seal tightly.
What I really like is that once you press down on the top it locks in place so you don’t have to continue to press down. It doesn’t take a lot of pressure to lock it and you hear a click when it’s locked.
In a few weeks I’ll check the bags that are in the freezer and if there’s any issues I’ll post an update. I don’t expect there to be any issues, though. They are sealed pretty tightly.

The vacuum sealer has been a great addition to my kitchen! This innovative appliance has simplified my food storage routine and helped to keep my perishable items fresh for much longer periods. The sleek design of the vacuum sealer is not only aesthetically pleasing but also very practical with user-friendly controls that are easy to navigate. What I love most about this vacuum sealer is its versatility – I can use it to seal a wide range of items such as meats, fruits, vegetables, and even marinated foods. The powerful suction ensures a tight seal every time, effectively removing air and preventing any potential spoilage.
Additionally, the vacuum sealer has helped me save space in my fridge and freezer by compactly sealing and stacking items. I appreciate the convenience it offers in terms of meal prep and organization, as I can portion out food items in advance and easily label them for quick identification.
